There’s zero need to soak. Just spray water over it and it doesn’t matter if it’s warm or cold.
Also I’ve read in the first comments that the armholes are too small. It’s actually the opposite. If they were higher and smaller the fit would be a lot better for movement.
As soon as weather permits I am in. But still over 20 Celsius here... Autumn is not arriving any time soon.
That’s what I do anyway, wear a leather jacket for a full A/W season. Last year and probably this one too will be the Himel goatskin Grizzly, the creases on the sleeves are so nice.
Yet sleeves crease by design as do back panels if worn snug, as do front panels in A-2 or jackets with snug waists and looser body.
Those shoulders creases seen in Ton pics are due to his own shoulders shape, that can’t be prevented unless it’s made bespoke like a suit. Some of those appear on...
Dennis is the one wearing the Shackleton waistcoat and Ken the one wearing a flat cap and the green leather and wool jacker(which was briefly available and it’s amazing!).
I don’t know the others.
By the way, I have a couple of jackets on my wishlist... but I’m a but worried about the heavy...
As good as it gets. I have the Eastman black version without the handwarmer pockets and it’s so nice to have a winter coat on this style.
Fits you really well
I’m surprised to see a few small sizes I had my eye on still available on the sale section and blue label.
Will wait to see what appears tomorrow but I’m also saving for other stuff... grrr.
I have 2 Aero jackets and an Eastman to sell though. So money would come back to me.
This has turned into a whitewashing GW thread.
It's amazing how easy is to lead people, here comes a supposedly friend of the maker and instead of dragging the maker to this forum by the ears to explain himself or making him write a statement about the current situation that would be sent by...
My only guess is that over there they drive everywhere with the AC in the car, AC at work, AC at the stores...and so on.
I can't even wear a cotton/linen jacket in those temps let alone a leather jacket.
I think that any of the Australian users here should buy this beauty:

Pay attention to the zipper description, small issue apparently.
I don’t even know if you are all trolling or just serious but I sense some personal issues with your own bodies if you’re so afraid of wearing shorts and are trying to reflect on others.
I favor the Journeyman but then I love buttoned jackets and earlier leather jackets style. Also you already have zipped jackets.
The cotton example you shared looks good on you and it's different than what you already have. On another note, I live in a place which doesn't see wear of leather...
People only get stuck with the image of brand new goatskin. It's no surprise that the best and well preserved leather jackets from 80 years ago are goatskin while other leathers show so much damage and overall bad condition if they have been used.
