This just looks like an amalgamation of many different jackets. The two jackets it's most closely patterned after would probably be an Indy jacket with car coat length.
What about this jacket is particularly interesting/attractive to you?
Nice find. That looks just like the one I picked up a couple weeks ago.
BTW, it's actually the best fitting jacket I've ever put on. You will not be disappointed.
And a word of advice to any denim jacket makers today: don't try to fix what was already perfected by Lee decades ago. Stop...
I just can’t get behind the lace to toe boots and monkey boots, but those are definitely on the less extreme end of the spectrum.
They remind me of bowling shoes too much.
Here are the Steve McQueens, recently purchased earlier this year. When they fold down, they are more compact with a smaller case than normal glasses, which I really like, particularly for traveling.
Not really wearing, but working on my new Wested Legacy Last Crusade.
Here's a progress shot midway through the front on the distress job I'm giving it. I'm going for a relatively screen accurate look. This lambskin has a rather lifeless topcoat new, but underneath is where the magic tones...
Hey, my theory is that the black teacore is really just "brown leather" in reality so they match in my book!
I've never been a black shoe or belt guy, so it's been hard to justify actually purchasing a pair, however I have recently jumped into the game with a black waxed flesh White's Nomad...
Agreed. What I feel they are really selling is this idea of a rugged, Americana workwear lifestyle to guys who don't actually live it. Meanwhile, the actual blue collar workers are buying Carhartt today, tomorrow, and yesterday.
I'm not saying this is not a better made jacket than Carhatt...
I don't think any company is above being criticized for a price point. It's fair game if you ask me, and we've all done it to the best of the leather jacket makers out there, so Ship John also should be able to handle it if their products hold up. The design of the Wills jacket is nice, but I...
To be fair here, you are looking at angles of a 2D picture of a 3D object. Even the slightest depression, wrinkle, roll, and fold in that leather (even if it isn't in the direct vicinity of the stitch) can distort the impression of a straight line. I would reserve judgment to holding it in...
Cool, good to know. I'm already above my quota for the year though so any new order will need to wait until sometime next year. I've really gone hunting lately with the Lofgren engineers and Alden longwings already received and now I have just in this past week pre-ordered Wesco Mister Lou's in...
I am a 10D Brannock, normally a 10D in most lasts, excluding White's MP and Alden Barrie/Truebalance where I am a 9.5D.
I can't speak to how it compares to your listed brands above, but they are wider than typical D sizing I come across.
