picked up two new hats recently. a positively rich Art Fawcett in a tan featherweight fur felt - 2" brim on this. got it used and it's a real keeper. then i got a Hopsie Hats beaver fur felt in silverbelly - 2.75" brim. thinking of selling this as i'm not quite sure it's for me. feel free... -

New Handmade Silverbelly Beaver Fedora Size 7 3/4
New 100% beaver silverbelly teardrop bash fedora made by Aimee Koch of Hopsie Hats in size 7 3/4. Brim = 2 3/4", crown height = 4 1/2". I just received this custom order from Aimee and while I quite like it, the felt is just a little too substantial for the hot Los Angeles weather. Paid $220...- konadog

Milan Mania
yeah, my Optimo has a lot of stiffener in it. the brim initially became very soft and i couldn't get it to lay down in front. so i sprayed some Bick stiffener to it and now it lays perfectly. that being said, i like the hat firm and well blocked. no complaints here. -

terrific hat, mike. i might be in the market soon for a squishy milan and will hit you up for advice again. been getting a lot of use out of my Optimo milan with the warm CA weather, but the Optimo ain't squishy. -

here are my two new hats. An Optimo Milan Straw Teardrop Fedora and a Stetson Benchley in beaver fur felt. Brim on the Optimo is 2.5" where the Stetson is 2". Crown is a little taller on the Optimo. Liking both hats but think the Optimo might be a better shape for me. Opinions welcome. -
