    Luckily the bike survived. The headlight is a bit screwed up and a few scrapes around the place - but it's not totalled and doesn't need a mechanic. I actually didn't notice the jacket until a few days after. I was mostly nursing my injuries.

    I bought through Thurston for my first 2 Aero jackets. I didn't even consider this problem now that I'm buying from Aero direct this time. The couple hundred I'm saving by buying direct I could end up paying in import taxes etc. BUT - I might just see if there's someone I know living in the UK...
