    Aero royale, who has one

They are supposed to be slimmer cut but that still looks quite boxy to me, it should have a boxy cut not that much? but it does look too big for him so maybe not a fair comparison.

    Trojan Repro by Schott /Legendary

I remember that, someone was so convinced that there was some type of stiffener they took a jacket apart and they found the backing, I can't remember if it was here or the VLJ forum. I can't recall if legendary knew about it, I think they told schott to stop adding the backing.

    Trojan Repro by Schott /Legendary

Funny too see my jacket is now with it's third owner, they where actually reasonably priced when Legendary had it's sales, I hate to think what Schott would charge now if they remade it. I had the stallion as well.

    Legendary Products, INC. Trojan Horse

It looks a lot better on you than it did on me it looks just right especially from the back. It was pretty big for the size, I only wore it about five times. I loved the back detailing, wrist fasteners and the big fur collar. I was reluctant to sell it as the chances of getting something like...

    SYDNEY’S FIRST ZOOT SUITER

"In 1943, 16 year old Kiouzelis was brought to the attention of the authorities for reportedly dancing at Sydney’s Trocadero dance hall in a ‘zoot suit’. Australia's First Zoot Suit Appears Pale-faced, aide-levered, self conecious George Pavlos, an 18- year-old waiter, wore at the Troca- dero...

buzz ricksons 1945 US army chino pants review

For WW2 no cuffs [as in sewn on turn ups] or rolled up cuffs when worn as part of the service/ dress uniform, but I have seen many pictures from the war with them rolled up. When I lived in the states I has some USMC 50s or 60s zip front khakis I found in a goodwill, they where pretty loose but...

buzz ricksons 1945 US army chino pants review

I know bills are good but you can get the get the buzz ricksons 1942 model in the USA for less at US$135 from HPA , maybe a good deal can be had on eBay for Bills used. New though, I would rather have a spot on repro of the WW2 issue pants at that price, I did say that did not bother me but at...

buzz ricksons 1945 US army chino pants review

Yep not cheap, nothing Japanese made is but the quality and attention to detail is top class but still expensive. I wanted a wide straight leg 40s cut to wear with my A2 jacket. If anyone knows of anything cheaper with a similar cut I would be interested in them, I don't care about them being...

Cost to make a pair of Goodyear-welted shoes

I don't think the companies profit equates to the cost of making the boots, I would suspect it is lower than that. If one of the brands they own is less profitable and and that brings down the overall profit for the year that does not reflect the cost of making a certain model boot. A large...

buzz ricksons 1945 US army chino pants review

Not as slim as Virgil Hilts [too 60's for my taste] but, Good views on the clip of Burt Lancaster in a tailored uniform as First Sergeant Milton Warden in From here to eternity. The studio would have given tailored clothes to the stars but it was common for even privates in stationed in Hawaii...

buzz ricksons 1945 US army chino pants review

I bought these because I wanted loose fitting 1940's style chinos not because I was after repro army pants. I am not going to go into how accurate a reproduction these are, I have nothing to compare them to, rather a look at the fit for those who are interested in them. I sat on the fence for...

    Budget A-1 jacket

Though some of my stuff is 38 some is 40 , best to go by the measurements and ignore the size. The stuff is cheaper on taobao than AliExpress but it can be problematic to use. I don't have any nylon but their shirts and sweatshirts are good, as well made as any high street brand. These are...
