"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

I can see 1970 being a good ending point for the show. I would like to see some fast forwarding just to know what happened to the characters in the recent decades. I'm hoping Don leaves Megan, I've found her to be so annoying to the point that I groan whenever she's in a scene. She's completely...

1940's Wide brimmed ivory panama hat

It's become a bad habit of mine to refer to any straw hat as a "panama". Indeed this one isn't.

Is this an authentic '20s/'30s Fedora?

Unfortunately there's no union stamp or tag of any sort inside the sweatband or any fragment of the original liner. The reason the sweatband throws me off is because it's physically very thin (almost paper thin) compared to pretty much every other authentic vintage hat I've come across. It's...

Is this an authentic '20s/'30s Fedora?

This fedora baffles me as it has that frayed ribbon like most '20s/'30s hats and has a more fuzzy feel to the material, but the very thin leather sweatband throws me off, as I know older hats had much bigger and thicker bands. Any hat experts out there want to take a crack at dating this hat?

    What are you wearing today??

My work attire last week. '50s hat, shirt and pants. I think the tie might be late '30s, someone had commented it reminded them of the World's Fair.

    What are you wearing today??

Last Saturday during my 23rd birthday party. Sporting my newly acquired '40s/'50s dobbs boater hat and '30s art deco tie. The day after, trying out the casual '30s look.
