Picked this beauty up at the Jazz Age Lawn Party this past weekend. 1940's? Mallory in practically mint condition. I had been wanting another grey fedora, but what sold me on this one was the green band.
I don't discredit this info at all, but I have a '39 union tag DB jacket that has a "2" like the '36 tags, and I have a 1926 dated DB with the same exact button stance.
Seller had this listed as a 1970's blazer, but I knew it was a lot older! The union tag is really washed out so I can't tell if it's a 1936 or 1939 label. I Surmise from the cut that's most likely pre-war. Any experts want to chime in?
Seller claimed these were 1980's does 1950's, but it looks more 1960's does 1920's to me, but I've been searching far and wide for heavy weight herringbone slacks and for $14 bucks these fit the bill regardless of age.
1940's tweed Hollywood waist slacks.
Small WPL number had me at...
1950's lambswool acrylic sweater vest

I disagree, while this one has been retrofitted and not in the best of shape I see no reason why a piece of history like this should go to the recycling plant. It's still wearable and it's a rare pre-1939 belted back. Heck, if it weren't for all the slightly haggard vintage pre-1950 jackets...
Looks almost like a costume piece meant to look like a 1900's era jacket.

I guess it depends on ones tastes then. I guess I should've retitled since it's a holy grail suit to me only because it's details are in accordance of my specifications for a dream suit.
