Would wear one of my hats and show you guys, but since my haircut recently the fit on my hats has been a little...different. Fedora lounge problems I suppose.
Liking the hat and shirt combo, Bill!
Seems like the higher quality hat I'm wearing, the more compliments. I get the most "gee, nice hat" and "where can I buy one like that?" comments with my Royal Stetson Deluxe. I kinda enjoy the disappointed/astonished reaction when I tell them it's a 70+ yr old hat, and can't be purchased at...
You said it. I wouldn't mind a collection just comprised of ties like that one. These fancier ones usually go for a higher price, though, really fancied among collectors.
Hmm, upon closer look you seem to be right. The one you gifted me had no white marks. Been confusing the two since I had gotten a VERY similar one at a flea market. My mistake, this is not our own B's hat, but I'd say just as splendid!
Hey thanks for inquiring. The brim indeed seems short, but there's no evidence it was ever cut down, so this is its original width. It was agreed by knowledgeable loungers that this hat is from the 40's, no reason to believe otherwise.
As for trading, I am not doing trades, only cash.
