Sure I could make one for myself but thought it'd be a fun group project if we can get enough involvement.
I could ask settlemeiers if they could do embroidery instead of a patch too if that's what you mean.
Found out from Dehen that we can order the zip neck "moto" with or without striped sleeves for the same price. We also can do a crewneck with striped sleeves, again same price so for $195/shipped CONUS we can have a very cool piece.
That said we need 36 guys to agree to the same specs!
Gav...
Sloan the one I just got is a 36, ww2 era. Maybe overpaid but Im very happy with the fit. The WW2 models run fairly TTS as they are more fitted than the later models.
If you find a Kersey wool one from any era in a 36 or maybe even a34 (if it is post ww2) you will be very happy with the...
I have posted this in outerwear section and will update more specifics there later tonight but I have learned we can get the zip neck moto with the striped sleeves OR a crewneck with striped sleeves for the same price.
Dehens wool sweaters are thick and amazing!
GB makes nice high quality jackets in US. pretty sure their production is in San Fran but perhaps elsewhere as well. You can contact them and send a pic and they can likely fill you in on details of your jacket. Nice find, especially if it fits.
My friend gifted me his navy issued 1963 model less than a week before he passed away from sudden illness. (Likely flu related)
I wear it in colder weather but the fit has never been "perfect" imho so i purchased a ww2 size 36 from guygardner on here. I recieved it today and while the...
Sloan as I stated the cost with shipping in the US would be 195. There are 2 companies involved but that includes their cost plus a bit for cartons/freight.
Striped sleeves Im sure would add to the cost, i can inquire but still dont hold much hope of getting 36 orders! Keep the ideas/...
"Unbranded" 21 oz selvedge denim jeans. I only wear them during the cooler months so they can last up to 3 years. Somehow their jeans fit me better than any other Ive tried and they fade really beautifully.
I don't know it, I think that image was used on TFL's Facebook page IIRC. I've tried hunting down more info/bigger photos etc of that team/jersey but have had zero luck. I just think it's pretty cool. if anyone else knows please share!
I posted this in general attire a while back but have heard back from Dehen and Settlemeiers, both local here in Portland, OR. With a min order of 36 pcs we can order a "copy" of the skull rugby jersey in Dehn's heavy worsted wool crewneck. Here is a pic of the crew and a pic of the original...
Heard back from Dehen and from Settlemeiers and we could have their heavy worsted wool crewneck with the skull patch for $195 shipped CONUS (I would be doing the shipping). Here is a pic of Dehn's crew in black for reference. minimum order is 36pcs for wholesale.
Anyone really interested let...
Worf I too have bought a cigarette bomb. Was actually a decent vietnam era G1. I used this volcanic ash stuff to remove the odor. Worked rather well but did not fix the fit issues so I traded it for a half decent 50s job. Fit was good but the leather was way too "distressed" and reminded me...
I had a 2 tone grey/charcoal "Thriller" jacket in the earliest of 80's.
Anyone else have a leather jacket they wish they never did?
I am asking friends and family if anyone has a photo.
In the meantime here is my first cross zip. A couple of fickle years after the Thriller era.
