Most of the employees did HD, and most for less money if my facts are right ... go figure, there's nowt as queer as folk :) With regard to Storse, I suspect the defence would be that a more senior executive had been informed and had given the instruction to proceed .... but then we will...

Interesting news Sloanie .. Does the trial relate to the "storse" issue ... or the alleged theft of jackets and jeans which were on display in a former Aero employees front room ( I know because I saw the shelves and coat rails which had been specially made to display them in 2007 as I was...

It's posted below his username on old posts ..... There you go being all obtuse again. I'm not surprised but I am a bit saddened he had a refreshing and independent view ... There's nothing worse than someone who is just a mouthpiece, and Schitzo may have been a mouth but never a mouthpiece. I...

Stop being obtuse ... Say what you mean Sloanie .... I hadn't thought about it but are you insinuating that A-1 is actually a suspended member reusing a new login aka Schitzo ( that's a little bit too paranoid for even my mind) ? Can the barkeep investigate please - I'll pm Scotty.

I personally would take CXL Steer over FQHH ( more pliable, better break in, more grain ) or even MWHH. Oil Pull is great stuff .. but not as shiney or grainy as CXL steer or FQHH. It's such a personal thing I'd suggest you get samples and compare them.

Christmas Jacket No. 3 Alexanders "Roadster" in Oilpull Steer

Not the worst ... but certainly a regular user :) The usual Horween suspects are there ... but they also stock a wide variety of others including many really nice and obscure hides like "Mongolian Horse" which I haven't seen in many places and which has a REALLY nice hand ( almost like the...

Most of Horweens Horsehide is German and Western European in origin ( size of hides and lack of scarring beiing the main factors .. the shells are the important part and the part with most value so decent sized shells with minimum scarring is the main drive which is why they don't use mongolian...

It's CXL steer in burgundy and is amazing leather. It has softened beautifully and is easily comparable to veg tanned in drape. The graining has continued to develop. The mods sound good and AL goat ( especially the black and russet) are outstanding hides ... Equally they have a large...

Oops missed the questions on hides Alexander's and Aero do a large variety of comparable hides ( as do many of the other manufacturers) Horween CXL steer is widely available from a number of manufacturers .( including Alexander's / Aero and others) .. And is IMHO the finest jacket leather for...

Guys. I have had both in 44" both in 42" and finally have one in a 42" ( Roadster ) and one in a 40" ( highwayman ) The 42" Roadster is slimmer than the 40" Highwayman ??? It's not the same size ... I have no interest in what the OP buys ... But the size aspect I can state as a fact :)...
