    Global Rakutan Questions Before Order

I've ordered a handful of times and have never had any issues. I used Google translation from English to Japanese to communicate and set up the "deal" prior to placing an order. What would happen is once we communicated and agreed that they had what I needed in my size, they would send me an...

Amelia Earhart May Have Survived Crash-Landing

This made the national TV news here in the states yesterday. That's saying something with all of the political news that dominates these days. So, maybe there is something to this. - Ian

My new life story and a word of warning

So, a few months ago I began having trouble swallowing my food, etc. At first, it was occasional and then progressively got worse. I've had GERD or acid reflux for as long as I can recall...since I was a kid. Well, I ended up at the gastroenterologist and she felt that it was likely a stricture...

Never mind the Dirty Dancing jacket, check out Rambo's First Blood M-65!

And, the jacket is dated 1984. So, it was manufactured after the movie was made. Also, Big J is right, Stallone is small, but M65 jacket's are a bit oversized...so, he'd never wear a medium and have it fit as well at the M-65 he wore in "First Blood." My guess is that he'd wear a Small/Short. - Ian

Navy Blue V Neck Pullovers New craze Fashion?

Yeah, you notice those fads here in NYC on a regular basis whether it's men or women. As you know, if you take a walk around the city, on a weekday during the day, you'll notice, at least, one new fad on women or men. - Ian

Be honest. What kind of jacket would you want to choose for going on a trip?

I'd go with the M-65 field jacket. However, I've made blazers/suit jackets pretty versatile over the years. - Ian

    Is Alpaca itchy?

It doesn't bother me, but neither does wool. It seems that it depends on the person. It's not one of those across the board sort of things. - Ian

USN Deck Jackets period / repop

I'm not sure how much the plastic lining breathes, if at all, but there are 3 vent holes in each armpit. Honestly, I haven't noticed that the jacket is overly warm, like rubber raincoat can be, for example. In my experience, the jacket keeps me pretty warm into the mid 40's without a sweater, or...
