I wear suspenders/braces with my vintage 30s, 40s suits but they are all a high waisted trouser. I think they are the best way to go when you’re wearing high waisted trousers. Matter of fact some don’t have belt loops just buttons for attaching suspenders. But I don’t wear or find them... -

Like you I’m surprised yet not surprised at the sale price. Beautiful felt and ribbon color….and I ain’t askarid of some moth bites. I’ve got a Stevens Pace Setter full of moth bites, sweat barely hanging on but a favorite I’ll hang on to till the bitter end. -
