Did you order the same size as your regular jeans? I am a size 32 normally but looks like on Brave Star I am closer to 31. What is your experience? Cheers.
I’ve conditioned a vintage with Oakwood leather conditioner I got from Woolies and it worked quite well. I’ve used Vaseline as well but it took longer to absorb.
I’ve been looking for those brown engineers for ages in my size, I have them in black and love them but I need a size 8.5D, what a shame it’s your only pair in larger size otherwise I’d get them straight away.
No worries, I’ll keep an eye, they’re discontinuing the model I think. I just checked and one last pair in black just sold at the Australian Red Wing’s official dealer in the sales page for $200, I wish I’d seen it before it sold out!
I have te same RW Ranchers but in burgundy, they were a little hard on the break in but now they’re one of my favourites to wear.
They’re very tough, comfortable and look really good after hard use.
I bought mine 4 years ago here in Oz and they’re still going great. Love them.
Jeans are size accurate; t-shirts and other tops I size up.
Unsure about the jackets but the vests are true to size in my experience.
I buy regularly and love their products.
Thanks for the thread @Canuck Panda , I enjoy your contributions a lot and your adventurous spirit exploring different styles and brands.
Do you know the model or link to that two-tone cross-zip one?
I think it’s based on a The Flat Head model of a few years back, I’ve always loved that jacket.
I was wondering about @Seb Lucas too, he was very active here then nothing all of a sudden. @ProteinNerd has been around lately, just not that often I guess.
Same for @Thuggee , another MIA from the Aussie front.
