Robert, that Premiere Strat looks great on you. I have that same hat, also in Cornhill (I'm wearing it in my avatar). I just wore it on my vacation. Even when the weather got a little hot, it felt comfortable to me. You don't necessarily have to wait 'til fall.
I'm on vacation in the Seattle area. I dropped into David Morgan Hats this morning and bought an Akubra Sydney. Thanks to Will for being a good salesman and for making sure I got the bash I wanted.
I recommend dropping by if you're in the area. It's nice to buy a hat and not have to wait for it...
On vacation today at Snoqualmie Falls, Washington. Wearing my Premiere Strat. Dropped in on David Morgan Hats. Very nice people. They had lots of hats (seconds) with minor flaws on sale super cheap. Lots of Akubras in the pile. Unfortunately, nothing really in my size.

This one is from July 1963, when I was a 4-year-old boy living in Norway. I post this because of the cool hat my grandfather is wearing, and because of what appears to be some sort of Chia Pet on my mother.
Kicking myself that I didn't bring my Strat on the trip, but I couldn't resist taking a shot of the real Stratoliner at the Air and Space Museum at Dulles.

Back in D.C. Here I am with the Mrs. last night at Wise Guys Pizza. Wearing a Dobbs Milan straw porkpie, trying to stay cool in the heat.

I'm really glad to see this thread. I live only a couple of miles from JW and have always wondered whether I should have him build me something. Your work is impressive. I want JW to teach me now, but I'm afraid I couldn't do anywhere near as good work as you've shown here.
