Hatophile, As an old Arizona boy, that picture of Sedona is making me homesick. Looks like a great day down there.
I'm loving all the green hats. I don't have one, so a green shirt and bowtie will have to do.
Loving it all today, from flea market finds, to the unknown 5X, to the gorgeous VS Pecan, to the Mojave that is sure to get the respect of the sun gods.
I picked this up awhile back -- a Bradford Western silverbelly.
I used a steam iron and a cloth this afternoon on the brim. It looks a lot better. Thanks for the great advice! I think I will keep this hat away from inclement weather from now on just to be safe.
I had the problem with the brim warping slightly on my Premiere cornhill. Also, the crown has a couple of little uneven spots in it now that I've been working to straighten. It's not a huge problem. The hat is still wearable. But I notice it.
I do like the feel of the felt on this hat. It's...
I got my Premiere straight from Stetson during their Black Friday sale. The price was about $60 below normal retail, so it was a good deal. I like the hat, but it has stitching issues with the ribbon and it came with a small dark smudge on the rear of the brim, top side. You can't notice it...
I'm glad you posted this. I had the same experience today and thought I did something wrong. I also sent Bob a message through kickstarter.

Ha! Well, I have to admit to not knowing much about Dr. Who, other than some brief images from when the kids have watched it. Maybe they thought I was Clark Kent!
This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was riding the light rail to work, wearing a brown fedora and a bow tie. I often dress this way and get few looks or comments. But on this day I had a lady walk up to me and say, "Well, that looks nice." I looked around and notice a few other people...
My son lives near Ft. Worth, so I know about the weather. I grew up in Phoenix and used to ditch school in March to see Spring training games. I miss those days. Good times.
