Tony this one is made for you....just my opinion of course! :)
Happy to ship it over East to you there.

Updated photo of "pin holes." they require inspection to see them.
There are actually three areas and these are highlighted in the photo below...
Thanks El Marro and Canuck Panda. I know that was a thread hijack on my part. So thanks all else for putting up with the hijack!
Actually, I was quite fortunate to visit them in person this summer, and trying on several in the store convinced me that a Columbia is what I wanted. Believe it or...
This one is painful. I love the leather this jacket is made with, and even the quilted lining just sits right onto you and keeps you just that extra touch warm. Which is nice, as the only way I can zip this lovely masterpiece up is wearing a tee shirt. It's as perfectly broken in as I have...
Welcome to FL - I would quickly suggest working with Carrie at Thurston Brothers if you are in North America. She will help you nail the fit and also is quite knowledgeable about all the leathers & lining offerings. Yes, it's easy to get overwhelmed! I walked into their store they used to...
If you do not have any success with that, you might try calling or sending and email to Johnson Leathers in San Francisco. They could likely make you a very similar vest just based off photos & dimensions.
I have Langlitz CHP's with full padding as well as the elbow-only padding, so a little "cleaner" upper look to it. Guess which one I wear a lot more? The fully padded one...Go Figure.... :)
If I am not mistaken, that was an ad by Filson for the large, lined wool overcoat.
I have seen that photo before.
The vest honestly looks homemade. But you can simply reach out to the main Filson store office in Seattle to see if they ever made something like this...
To some extent, every leather jacket I've ever owned has squeaked at least a little bit. Except for lambskin.
Some do it more than others, just apply a good coat of Urad normal to it and see how it is.
It's the jacket just talking to you.
This is the best idea.
By the way, Welcome to Fedora lounge. It's a great idea when you are new in here to at least give a few basics - like what country do you live in? What are your basic leather jacket experiences & interests, and where have you been/tried on jackets, etc.
This is all...

I would suggest the Urad normal + Tenderly, and you may want a couple of them, as this product soaks in rapidly.
Expect to apply 2-3 coats of Tenderly first.
Don't use the Urad normal until you have it well softened up.
Ideally - place the jacket in...
Speaking of "puddles of leather" the E I just posted about in another thread is similar. Starts out very stiff, just gets better and better.
@TartuWolf - I think yours looks brilliant there!
So that rather oversize "E" is gone, sold and shipped out, and a 44 has taken it's place.
Before I go any further, I find that these Highwaymen are nearly as difficult to grasp the sizing on as the Aero Highwayman jacket. Perhaps it is the timeframe these particular E's were made in, as this...
Photo taken a week back, could not have the windows open now. Certainly wearing it today.
Vintage Vanson model E, one I need to do a more thorough write-up on. Pretty snug for a "44" but the grain, patina on the comp-weight leather is worth keeping this one around.
Looks a lot like a Vanson CHP (has the hardware for a fur collar in place around the inside of the collar)
or a Langlitz Columbia same/set up for belt & collar but just not used.
Looks very new, and heavy to wear on a set...
Up for sale is a new condition, Banana Republic Wool button-up coat. I picked this up at an estate sale a few years back as it literally looks un-worn. No rips, tears, odors, and has been in a pet & smoke free home since new.
However, I have also not every worn it, so passing it along for...
