This, exactly. Also items like side adjustment comes in really hand, once you actually own one, since you can dial in the fit much more. My first couple leather jackets, about 30 years back, were around $150 each. However at that time a new Schott was around $350 or so.
I like it, Roman, I agree with others, with a few pounds less, it would be a literally perfect fit.
Challenge yourself in the new year to take the weight thing seriously and maybe the fit will even out...
Just have to say - this 'Cordovan' W-D looks better to me than many jackets costing well north of $1K.
Such a wonderful jacket there! Likely also built to last a few lifetimes with the right care.
It's possible you may find one on here, but I did two searches to see if any Aero Highwayman jackets of Schott 689HH's have been offered for sale here in the past couple of years. None found. Maybe I missed one, but I have not seen many of either of these models offered.

Seems like a nice jacket and the leather certainly looks amazing. I agree though the "fake" half-belt, the center crease - seam and all those zippers with a D-pocket on the front give it a little too "busy" a vibe. At least in my eyes, and for this specific jacket & target market. What was...
Really appreciate this and all the other comments. Just is not fitting me correctly, so time to let it go.
Weight training has affected my upper body area, more than I realized apparently.
Ha! Yeah, especially those 4-little pocket zips at the bottom, and the "one side padded" shoulder details. :(
Now that I look at it, looks like an 80's robot jacket...or something like that. I guess it's still in nice shape, but a few less elements to it/simpler design it would be so much...
Amazing, awesome Aero Ridley up for sale in "New with tags detached" condition. It has basically sat in my closet ever since I received it, it is a bit too tight for me overall, especially in the shoulders & pit-to-pit area. I have tried it on a few times, and un-laced the Made by Julie Leitch...
Retro '80's Vanson with belt 46/XL - not a model I have ever seen before. I like this one - kind of has a neat "armor" look to the upper sleeve area. Also a shirt collar and a straight zip design. However more a find than a deal at $699 BIN w/offer.

Vanson Model E - Highwayman - around a size 48-50. Neat older jacket, going to need a few pocket repairs & pocket zips. $315 BIN

If you really want to stand out -- Vanson Bones. 44 - old comp weight, ~ 20 + years old.

It seems so simple to send a quick „message received, here’s the next step/will get back on xxx“, yet some people just don’t....
I have long wondered why this is. From a professional perspective, it's the simple expectation that if you are away on vacation, or even taking...
Just seeing if anyone has a Highwayman they want to add to this thread. All mine are long gone. Down the Highway, as they say. Oh well, maybe one day again...

Monitor is our resident expert in this area. I believe a few others have a couple pair, I have found a good balance in the past with the Red Clouds Collective waxed cotton double knee pants.
That said, I think one reason the OP is drawn to this specific pair of pants is that they are very...
The Tough Duck is cheaper in US than Canada, but at those prices, I would suspect they are not made in Canada.

If you want US-made, but hand and If you have $350 for such a jacket, this would be a great work jacket - I'd size for layers myself...
