Outside of Himel's batch of new designs, Theodoros is the only person I know who's put out multiple interesting new moto designs. Similar to Himel, they tend to be historical "inspirations" rather than reproductions. He's got an incredible array of unique jackets.
Among other offerings, I know he has a cowhide which appears to be what you would call "naked" cowhide, very matte finish, gives it a rustic look that works very well with his designs. He also has the Italian veg tanned horsehide which Thurston specifies. The HH is more or less in the 2.75 -...
Nice work... he definitely posted that AL kudu jacket here when he first purchased it also... the famous crocs with leather jacket picture.

Great thread and very interesting information. What would be helpful is if we had multiple members with the same jacket on opposite sides of the "size" spectrum so we can look at the pocket proportions.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw the back... still on the short side, but IMO that's where it should be. I do see the stud for the inside belt loop in the bottom picture... shouldn't be an outside loop there, just the inside one.
Any other details not withstanding, in the left picture above I don't like the pull chain from the top zipper falling right onto the zipper below. To me, that one is too close.
I keep staring and staring at this new picture and honestly I think it would bother me more if he had raised the D-pocket so that the belt loop was below the pocket. The upper pocket seems to fall in a good spot in respect to the collar. I can see what others mean, but to me it looks good and...
I agree when it comes to most normal pockets, but would you use the same D-pocket on a 44 as on a 36? Same question on an A-2? Wouldn't a pocket that large look out of place on a 36 if it looked proportional on a 44? (For the record, I have no idea what the answer is...)
When I received the jacket I didn't notice it. I was excited by the rest of the pattern / construction / use of NOS zips and snaps and found it to be otherwise very correct. I don't ever snap it and never will. Do I wish it was moved inside of the stitching (probably 1/3")? Yes. Will I let...
Exactly right, which is why I suppose Buco may have moved the snaps over the stitching to the heavier leather. While esthetically it's more pleasing with the snap inside of the stitching, it can prove to be a weak point when the leather it used as a tab to repeatedly open the snap.
Good illustration. If these are identical jackets, with just one in the long, it appears that the solution here was to add the length below the pocket and allow the belt loop to attach below instead of on.
