That link to the song was great, look how soft those big ole hats were, when the cowboys start waving em.
Thanks for sharing that, it's a good one.

We should allow vendor links in the signature sign offs of anyone that makes, sells, or repairs hats. I am learning to make hats, buying equipment, blocks, tools and so forth in hopes of one day being able to even come close to John and Steve and all the other hats that have been on this site...
If you allow these hatters to leave all of us who wear hats, love hats and try to make our own or at least try to make a few repairs ourselves will lose BIG time.
I know that John and Steve and Art have helped so many of us with hat repairs, even sent free of charge sweatbands and liners...
I used to do a lot of fly fishing down on the Little Red River, have caught some big trout over the years, matter of fact, the best time to fish over there at a place called Cow Shoals on the Little Red, is in late Nov when the brown trout are running, I have caught some nice 5 to 7 lb ones over...
Did you go to the shop and look at the hat equipment yet? please let me know if there was any hat equipment there that he would like to sell.
Thanks,
Mike
Let me know of any sewing machine, brim press( sand baggers) or any of the bigger shop tools, the main thing I need is the singer 107-1 to sew the sweatbands in with.
If you could take a few photos of the items this would be a big plus.
Thanks, for the offer to inform us .
