That’s really nice. Do you know if your grandfather bought the hat new from E.W. Mellon in North Carolina? Btw, if you measure the inside of the hat from front to back and side to side that will give you an idea of the size. -

Go for it. I did my Akubra Campdraft open crown with a similar sense of trepidation, and it was super easy and fun. I did dry bashes first, and then did a spray bottle treatment and that set the bash in place. The next time I crease or bash my hat I will do it with steam! These folks know of... -

What do you guys do with the wind trolley? Does anyone actually use this? Since I’ve been wearing my Campdraft the trolley string has loosened up and the button has migrated toward the back of the hat.
