It looks like an Aero cafe racer, with Highwayman collar (aka ‘Sheene’), plus gussetted shoulders.
It’s a very nice & somewhat functional design.

Back to the OP, @Stanley Doble , you claim to have a ‘good’ quality jacket.
Could you elaborate further?
One persons ‘good’ is another’s mall jacket.
Some further information about the hide type, weight, age etc is essential to provide you with information that could be advantageous.
I can see that there's not a whole lot of love for the Saddleback products here & I can certainly understand the 'weight' part of this.
But when it comes to the way that they're made, these things are just brilliant.
I happen to be in the 'odd' camp here as I love them & their 'over-engineered'...
It’s sitting around not getting a whole lot of use.

I mean, if you start with Two hides from the same batch & hot stuff them both, then proceed to cut & make a jacket with one, whilst wash & ‘tumble’ the other hide (prior to cutting etc), then wouldn’t...
