Great jacket indeed and in a very nice condition
They made a few variant of these styles from what i've seen, your is made of steerhide, it seems the 674G was a "deluxe" version of the 674 : https://www.schottnyc.com/forum/posts/info_on_674.htm
There is a also the 174sm (sherpa and naked...
Hello everybody and thanks a lot for all the replies / help i received
I know it is probably the dumbest decision ever, and most of you will agree and adviced against it, but i decided to keep it, i felt like sending it back would break my heart
I have been thinking a lot about it, could not...
Thanks for all the helpful answers
Would i have bought it if i had knew? Maybe not at this price
What is sure is that i love the jacket (except for the hells angels thing), the fit is tight for now on the hips and chest but i still have weight to lose, been working on it for 2 months already...
Hey all
I recently purchased a Schott one star horsehide from the late 50's, most of you probably saw the listing on ebay
After a few days of thinking i decided to purchase it, i don't know if it was a good move or not but i really wanted it, i paid 1650 pounds shipping included, 1920e after...
I will ask him thanks you
Pretty cool and cheap, could do the job but i never bought on this site, i believe i will need a proxy
If nothing of this works i'll try to contact Mr Chapman
Thanks
Yeah it is a repro but i don't expect to find original, even if i do i would prefer repro since i will only need the chain part, i don't want to destroy an original
I contacted the guy on ebay and he only has brass color
Hello
i bought a jacket that needs new pocket zip pullers, i was thinking about buying diamond talon repro and then scavenge the chains but impossible to find any
I found it but in brass color and i need nickel
Brass : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/184250024916?ul_noapp=true
Any idea where to find...
Not that overrated tbh, 180 is ideal imo
Jackets like my B3 eastman are not designed for small people, that is how i feel and that is why i'm probably gonna sell it
But i accepted the fact that i won't grow anymore and that's ok, i could also be smaller :D
That is so nice, really great jacket i love it
Sadly not for me i'm only 5'7 / 170cm (the price isn't for me either :D )
Biggest regret of my life not being taller
Found this for 550e, i'm hesitating so much, it is a goodwear made of russet cowhide
Measurements are good, made in 2005/06
Great condition, i would say it is a 8.5/10
@tmitchell59 thanks for your answer, i decided not to buy this horsehide jacket
Thanks, i found these infos :
-It is a 100th anniversary model replica of the beck 333 made for the Japanese market only
-It is a special horween leather using an "old recipe" which makes it age very quickly and develop a great patina
-Also exists in burgundy color
-Sellers claim only a small...
Yeah it definitely make sense making a replica of the BECK 333 for the 100th birthday
So no inside pocket ticket ?
One like that :
I've seen your post on the Schott forum but don't expect an answer, since Gail passed no one from Schott is answering anymore
You can try to contact Jerri maybe she...
Hey, if i'm not mistaken it is a 100th year anniversary production for the Japan market made of horween steerhide
What does the pocket ticket say ? Is the 5th digit a 3 ? If yes then it is indeed a 100th anniversary jacket
I ordered the same in size 40, hopefully when my diet is done it will fit :D
