It does suit you so well! Glad to see JL getting more appreciation, they really deserve it! Curious to see what you have cooking next, in what leathers :D
I initially contacted Alan from JL for another idea. But after discussing it at lenth decided not to go for it. So I asked him if he was willing to make that aviator jacket with a few modifications such as the british style side straps instead of the laces. After two mockups, I got the first one...
Yeah for the rain, most of the time it is LW. I still remember when I took off my Suburban after a three hour ride in heavy rain, same as @JMax mentionned, my jeans were drenched in a matter of minutes at most... and my upper body was completely dry.
I have yet to test my chrome tanned JL...
The fit is freat overall, but that is not surprising from Thedi. His patterns are pure magic :D
I have to say I really like the graining on this jacket, I know you would want to see it develop, but habe no fear the jacket wil lstill evolve with use.

I think the SB offering is of kokkolan is a steal, granted it is the printed hide which limits the wastage but...

Not all leathers coming out from Shinki is top end, their...
It is the same with people who buy fashion brands and think these are the best made items. In their case they can impress the people they seek to impress I guess...
Edit: I should mention that some of the fashion branded items are actually well made, as @Monitor showed us recently. It really is...
