I think if there is really a lot of us, it would be polite to go these shops in smaller groups. At some point they will worry about shoplifting if a big bunch or leather jacket wearing weirdos crowd a small shop.- Jejupe

I recommend custom jacket by Johnson Leathers, because you have unusual proportions. Johnson will start by making a mock up jacket with your measurements to make sure they get the fit right. How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?
Tenjin doesn’t use deerskin as far as I know. They use veg tanned cowhide. LW’s deerskin is chrometanned, so comparing these hides doesn’t make sense to me. Apples and oranges. I would say LW is slightly better in what comes to workmanship, but this doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the...- Jejupe
