I'd say better than Vicenza but worse than CXL FQHH. It's veg tanned so in comparison to chrome tanned leather it's always going to be less water proof. I believe the tannery is called Clayton of Chesterfield or Clayton Leather.
Clayton is my new favorite horsehide! (At least for a while it is). Best way to describe it is to say that in terms of look and feel it sits somewhere between Aero’s Vicenza and Horween FQHH. Its stiffer and thicker and than Vicenza, it has the shiny finish of the CXL FQHH, but its more pliable...
