    Today I wore my Don Draper hat from my friends at Salmagundi and my new "Own Make" Brooks Brothers overcoat. I love this coat and am proud that, like my suit, it was made by Brooks Brothers in Massachusetts. The hat is rather wonderful as well.

    A magnifying shave mirror has made all the difference for me. I now get the closest shave I have ever had; safety razor, brush, and shave soap. The mirror makes the difference because I can see if I have missed anything.
