    New Aero 42-15142-P

Excellent A2, I think the fit is perfect, I don't think the sleeves are too long it's simply because you have a large watch on the left hand, I always prefer A2's in Seal sweet Jacket! D

    Highwayman 3.5 months old

Dav, The highwayman looks fantastic! the house looks good too!( is it a church/chapel conversion?), and the dog looks great(looks like he could use a nice pair of wayfarers though!), by the way where did you get his collar, I used to use craftsmanleatherwear(from Bradford) but they have vanished...

    My New LW Dubow A-2

Hi Chamboid, very nice jacket at a superb price, fits perfectly across the shoulders, OK the sleeves are a bit long but before you get them altered I would keep it for a while to let the sleeves develop their creasing then when they have ridden up you will know exactly how much to shorten them(I...

    Car Coats.

Worf, Did you know some of the Aero jackets go up to 56" chest (Highwayman and 1/2 belt) and some of the longer ones(Long Half Belt, Hercules and Vest De Rallye) go up to 54" and are very generously cut! if you e-mail them they will send you the actual measurements, I bet you could get one to...

    Aero Workshop Visit

Hi WDW, I've been up there to get measured on a couple of occasions and back again to collect the jackets, the wait is hellish, but when you actually get to collect the jackets and feel the fit it's certainly worth the visit! I would advise anyone who can to do so to do it, I'm sure when the...

JACKET - TRACKIT (For members burning to get their ordered jacket on their back)

I collected my new Aero last week! I went up on 9th August to be measured and the jacket was made on Jan' 10 so my wait was very similar to Norwaymans, It's very tough waiting for a new Aero but when you finally get your new jacket all that wait suddenly seems worth it!

    Aero or Eastman B3

My experiences with Eastman and Aero for what they are worth are as follows; I bought an Eastman A2 many years ago when Eastman were in their infancy(at this time I did not know that/if Aero existed!), from what I recall at the time there was only the A2, B3 and RAF jackets available and the A2...

To patch-pocket or not to patch-pocket?

Sir J, I have a Stockman on order (I was told by Amanda2 weeks ago that I could collect it by Christmas but alas no call yet!), I specced outside pockets from a long half belt without the breast pocket, I thought that this was a more usable and more vintage spec' than the std patch pocket...

    Old Aero Leather Co. Label

I also think it's an early Aero (Scotland) jacket as I'd be surprised if Aero Beacon sourced Royal Stewart (I Think) tartan as a lining material!

    Pea coat opinion

Hi Biznard, If you bought the jacket to wear I think all you should worry about is fit, finish and if it makes you happy! if you bought it as a museum piece the missing label could be a problem!, enjoy the jacket for what it is!

    Aero over lostworlds

This cracking looks very much like the "Warhorse" broken grain available on some Eastman jackets, I think it may be due to the way the hide is tanned! I may be crazy but personally I prefer a characterful hide to a very smooth finish! D

    Wolverine Montgomery - any experiences?

Hi Griff, have you looked at williamlennon.co.uk in their Town & Country specials section there are some very nice boots! these are hand made to order in the UK and are a lot cheaper than either of the boots you mention. D

Highwayman Cordovan fit pics and questions regarding my second Aero

Hi Smoz, Nice jacket, looks good!, the length of the sleeves could end up fine as Windward says, once they get a little more wrinkly, I personally would certainly not take more than 1/2" from them for your next, the body fit looks fine to me! remember for 4-5 months you will probably need to...
