On field jackets, there is the Rosamond in the Barbour "Steve McQueen Collection" at £600 (but it is in lambs leather), if I were spending that sort of money I would save a little more and go for an "Admiral Byrd" Aero jacket available through Kentaurus an Aero retailer in Cologne, Germany, or...

Mark,
Another thing to remember about ordering your own spec' from Aero is that you do not pay anything until the jacket is ready to ship! which gives you another 12-14 weeks to save up!

Hi Mark,
I'm not sure if this jacket is an apprentice made jacket, I think it is possibly an order which has been returned for some reason (incorrect fit, possibly), usually all the jackets which are apprentice made say exactly that, also if it was apprentice made I think it would be a little...
Mike,

As the hide becomes more pliable it gets easier, I usually tolerate this as I think it helps with the breaking in process however you could unzip as Griff suggests, if you cannot tolerate it I'm sure Aero do carry out modifications(including double ended zippers) but I would contact Amanda to...
I believe Aero did aquire the use of the Aero Beacon name legally, and from talking to Will at Aero many companies ask if they can use the Aero name (one being Morgan cars), Will told me that if they ask nicely he usually has no objections, however if people just use it without consent to...
That must be Aero as it's the only one in Scotland! they did change their website design about 18 months ago,
Fantastic jackets! aeroleatherclothing.com

If they were genuine Aero's at under £200 you should have bought them all and put them on e-bay, it seems strange to me that on Aero's own website you can not buy a trainee made jacket(or a second hand one) for under £300 that a retailer has them for over 33% less when they would require a mark...
