If Persimmon rates Aero as crap! why has he had several in his ownership? When I buy something I consider to be crap I would consider myself a
fool to purchase from them again!

Worf,
Congratulations on the jacket! it looks like it was made for you!
Commiserations as this is the first step to becoming a full blown Aero addict, stop now while you can!! it may take over your life!

Perfect Solution,
Buy a longer and a short jacket, ask her which she prefers if it's the longer one tell her you will wear that one when you are with her and wear the other one when you are not! 2 jackets for the hassle of 1

If you wear a large watch especially a chronograph with a rotating bezel I have found that this will snag and ruin the storm cuff, consequently for my last jacket I specced' no stormcuffs.

I can't comment on Jacob but Herdwick is an incredibly hardwearing very rough wool, like the sheep themselves which are a fell dwelling breed left very much to their own devices, and generally bred for meat!

Panacheman,
Maybe a little good news for you! I too have long arms (22.5" from my pit to between wrist and thumb knuckle) and I have just measured my Stockman which I was measured for by Will at Aero, he remarked I had long arms and that he would lengthen the sleeves by 1.5" and my jacket lies...
Why not ask if a two way zipper is available(I know these used to be available) then if you need to sit down with the jacket fastened you can open the zip from the bottom to aleviate the problem of the jacket riding up.
