Very nice boots! I must have a pair soon!
I too used to be a big fan of Timberlands, got my first pair about 30 years ago when they first came to to the UK,and they were very good boots then, I have had many pairs since then and each pair seems worse than the previous, your friend is right...
That certainly is a very handsome jacket Worf, as has been mentioned I have no idea how it started out as a Veste de Rallye but it is a unique beaut of a jacket!

I'm fairly sure that Holly from Aero has posted on here before saying that Sam Walker was once a retailer of Aero jackets but at no time did Aero ever make jackets for Sam Walker with a Sam Walker label sewn into them! all the Aero jackets sold by Sam Walker carried the Aero label, and I believe...

If anyone has a very small 32" or less, Brown leather flight jacket will consider from new to very worn!, it's for my daughter, I just got her an old Blatt of Chicago one (lovely jacket) but unfortunately the arms are a bit short, so her little sister has claimed that one!

A while ago I read a thread in which someone mentioned a new supplier of vintage leather jackets which I think was based in Yorkshire please does anyone recall the website name of this supplier?
Thanks

I would ask Peter for his opinions, and remember always better to be a little too long than a little too short!
or you could tell the intended recipient that you had started a night school class in undertaking and would they mind if you were to practice your measuring skills on them!!

I measured one of my other jumpers that I liked the fit on and gave him that measurement, when it was delivered (very quickly I may add) it was exactly the right length!

My Stockman is 33" long, and I was measured at Aero for it(I think it is 1"=11/2" longer than std), I normally take a 44-46" jacket so they may be cut big as there is plenty of room in it and it has a 42" label in, the length falls at exactly crotch level.
