Past Lives and Einstein's Theory of Spooky Science at a Distance...

I don't see where this is deterministic. I just described how the subconscious mind works. Everybody is free to change their subconscious programming however they choose (provided they find a way to do so).

Past Lives and Einstein's Theory of Spooky Science at a Distance...

We are constantly creating by our thoughts, words and actions. Only, most of the time we are doing it unconsciously. The subconscious mind is the single most powerful goal achieving agency known to man. Whatever it is programmed to do it will achieve. It has no choice because it cannot judge...

They'll have a booth at the Selvedge Run in Berlin, so they'll probably find a few more retailers.

    Past lives, do you believe?

Actually, when people spontaneously snap into a past life during a hypnosis session they are almost never somebody famous or very important. They may consciously think they used to be Cleopatra but in hypnosis they are usually a peasant or merchant or something. Normal people leading normal...

    Past lives, do you believe?

Being a professional hypnotherapist I came to believe in reincarnation. When working with regression to cause you regularly have clients who spontaneously snap into past lives. Often these people do not believe in reincarnation at all prior to their past life regression or haven't even heard of...

    Pike Bros denim

I wonder why they called it 1937? The low rise certainly makes them look not like 30s trews at all.

Camelhair sportcoat size 40L, patch pockets, ventless, 1930s repro

Dang, I've seen it too late. Please tell me there was no seam allowance to lengthen the sleeves.

Lining quality for Aero Leather Jacket

Lining is not very important for warmth, layering is. Unless you plan to wear it in extremely cold weather (then you should go for shearling) it is more important to have enough room to layer underneath. My goatskin half belt is lined with cotton drill. Worn with a chunky wool sweater I can...

    What are you wearing today??

Is that the famous Japanese selvedge denim, falling apart after just one year? Seems like some cheap no-name mall jeans would do better than that.

Very nice suit, even though it's black. I would certainly bid on it if it was my size.

Corduroy Pants in the Golden Era?

I have their high rise trousers. Very high quality work wear trousers. Well worth their price.

Corduroy Pants in the Golden Era?

I think the Aero waistband looks wrong, too many fabric layers. Somebody (probably one of the tailors on this board) mentioned it has to do with the construction. Somehow they followed modern standards and folded the seam allowance over the wrong way resulting in this funny looking thick...

Corduroy Pants in the Golden Era?

In Europe corduroy was quite popular for country and work wear. Another jeans substitute in Europe was moleskin. Both are still the fabric of choice for carpenter's trousers today. Also, old suits were often worn as work wear as well since the fabrics were much sturdier than today.

Cookie, what does the absence of channel stitching suggest to you?

    Show us your SHOES !!!

My (uneducated) guess would have been late 30s to 40s. Certainly newer than my other pair.

    Show us your SHOES !!!

Thanks for the info, guys. Shell or CXL would be nice indeed. I like the work shoe aesthetic of the Freemans. Cookie, does that mean you think the boots might be even older than late 20s?
