This would get you murdered in my town and then they'd take your phone and wallet too!
I say this without a hint of humor. If you did manage to make it to the police the kids would tell the police you solicited sex from them, you'd go to jail and they'd still have your hat.
Unfortunately you're asking for a size that is going for a crazy premium right now ( I know because it's my size too). A nice vintage Borsalino and a Stetson Stratoliner in this size just sold in the $350 range. They can certainly be got for less with vigilant watching of various sources but...
G, we have very similar backgrounds ( I've only dabbled in sculpting but work full time as an artist and still make furniture on the side) and have come to very similar hat conclusions
Very much enjoying the hat show today, everyone! Well done

Royal Stetson
Love everything about this hat, it's like brand new

A rare treat to see Rick here! Looking great today as always everyone!
Today, another SST (Sovereign Stetson Twenty) but atypical from my others and 40cal's
I think it likely this hat is a reject as has been discussed elsewhere. I don't think it's the earlier wide ribbon Open Road
I think Moon has got more vintage hats in the last year than I have in the last five. Just to show the difference size can make when going after vintage hats. Size does matter
