Thanks @Seb Lucas .
Here are some pics, I’m wearing a thick tee (studio dartisan suvin gold) under my denim shirt. Still comfortable to zip up, probably over thinking it.
Thanks for the feedback so far all, I’ll post up more pics later today with a proper full shot. Quick question - can I expect much stretch? The jacket zips up fine but I’d ideally like a bit more wiggle room in my chest (around 1” would be perfect).
Thanks @Benj ! I would say they have a lot of similarities but a few differences are:
- this leather is much less rigid, feels very pliable and has a soft touch.
- the colour is immediately much richer, towards a brown, almost a hint of burgundy, whilst the 24l has a pronounced black sheen...
Just received the FH cafe racer, incredible service from Danny at Rivet and Hide as usual.
The leather is, as with all their jackets, gorgeous, and the stitching is laser focused. The back panel is a work of art, can't get get pics of that until the other half gets home!
Cold day in Melbourne...
Hey mate,
Actually selling this to pay for a Flathead cafe racer I’ve already bought arriving today...! Don’t need any more jackets I don’t think (famous last words).
Size 44, gently worn. Rarely in stock anywhere in this size. Goes new for around $2250USD, looking for $1800.
Amazing veg-tanned deerskin, laser stitching, top quality.
Measurements (inches):
Chest 23"
Sleeve 25"
Length 26.5"
Shoulder 19"

Hey mate, I take the same size in both Alden and RMC (unless it’s a crazy last like Plaza). I’ve owned Alden in a lot of lasts, and I’d say these are not as wide as Trubalance, but close, so probably near Barrie.
Agreeing here - if price wasn’t an object, the Flathead Delraiser is the least “biker” of all the cross zips and has a pronounced V-shape, but considering price I’d go with Tony.
