    That's a great way of putting it, really depends on how you wear them. Same here, I don't use them for work so my jeans rarely get dirty so I'll wait a good while (6 months) to wash the lighter weight jeans.

    Simmons Bilt - Brown Horsehide - Size 44 - Brand New

    I haven't handled blattwerk from SB but I have a JL Masaye. The Masaye is lighter/thinner/softer than my FL/FW shinki, the JL Masaye is also black overdyed for an added sheen so I guess you can say it has a matted finish when the top layer of paint wears off. It's nice to wear and very easy/comfy.
