    I think one can go with "well worn" and still take care of one's boots. Cleaning, brushing, conditioning when necessary. I don't have quite the level of fancy boots that some of you do, but do generally wear PNW stuff, which is certainly not cheap. I have no problem wearing my Nicks or Wescos...

    You're probably right. I gave it a surface cleaning, and hopefully airing it out some will help with the closet smell. Will take some photos at some point, it's got some really nice grain.

    Just scored a nicely broken in suburban on ebay. Smells like it's been in a closet for a while though. Will give it a cleaning with obenaufs cleanit or maybe lexol, and then maybe conditioner of some sort. Any suggestions on a conditioner? My first time with LW HH, and it is indeed impressive.
