If I could make two more suggestions...
First, ask Sam and Greg what they advise. They're both experienced at designing and making jackets. (Sam created the Ladies Cossack for Aero.) And it generally pays to listen to what someone like that says.
Second, if you want to go longer in the body...
@jimmer_5 I've seen a few longer cross-zip jackets or coats with a belt at the waist, but they might not be your thing.
Greg did a really cool collared café racer for a guy called Roman. It's up on his Instagram. You could copy the style and add a few inches to its length.
Butterworth...
@Mrfrown how does the jacket fit through the body? It looks slightly big in the shoulders, but I don't know if that's just your pose!
I'd be tempted to leave the body as is, but I like longer café racers and I think it looks good as is, but shorten the sleeves. I would also see if you could...
The Himel has got zips that run up to the armpit, which should make it easier to pull on that @Carlos840's Vanson.
My favourite is this one by an unknown maker I saw on eBay a while back. I keep on getting tempted to get a replica, but I'd have the bottom cut square and replace the laces with a...
I'm a couple of inches shorter than @Rkm1972 and @MrProper, but my arms and legs are disproportionately long, so I have the same problem!
Iron Heart IHJ-54 in XXXXL has a 25.7" pit-to-pit and 28.2" sleeves. It's currently out of stock, as is the collarless IHJ-35, and rather expensive...
The Campus looks good, unfortunately they don't come up big enough for me.
The Mister Freedom store is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit if you're in LA.
CP Company leather car coat in a size 48. Located in the UK. Looks pretty cool, but the sleeve measurement (shoulder to cuff) is listed as 22", which I would want to check...

I've not owned one, but I've never had a problem getting into them when I've tried them on. However, they probably work best in rough out with the grain side providing a smoother surface.
I always put holes in liners in a short order. I had an Aero Veste de Rallye, and I wore through the Alpaca...
I think that a lot of jackets end up being too complicated, and that you'd be better served by stripping away features. The designs that I'm leaning towards at the moment are those with fewer pockets, no gussets, unlined, and generally simpler and more minimalist.
The unlined Himel Kensington...
This jacket came up as a related item link to the awesome red Shields pullover that @JMax posted.
It looks like it's based on an Oshwahkon jacket, though it dates from the eighties or nineties, and was made in Korea, not the US. If it was a couple of sizes bigger, it would have @red devil...
You can always send Iron Heart your preferred measurements, and ask if there's a jacket that matches them. There's some variation within the size, so you might be lucky.
For example, I got a pair of jeans that had an extra inch of inseam versus the measurement chart, which I needed.
