Very nice, you made the right choice! I've never seen a redskin ANJ-4 before, it looks good.

Sheepskin lined US Authentic flight jacket. Schott 674 copy.

Great jacket, I have a US made LL Bean Flying Tigers, very similar. Im a fan of those civi 70s G1s with sheepskin lining as well.

Cafe racer jackets for wide chest and small waist.

That’s quite the chest to waist ratio. Aero’s cafe racers are quite v-shaped and they pop up on eBay in the UK, or in the classifieds here. They’re a roomy cut so you’d probably be a 46.

I wonder what the jackets he keeps are like... It must be a jacket wonderland in there.

EASTMAN (E.L.M.C) HORSEHIDE G-1 LEATHER JACKET GREAT CONDITION!

What's the size on the label? It might be best to include that in the title as well. Also I can't see the ebay link.

Is this a Perfecto 618 or 118? Bought on eBay for $300 incl shipping

I have a 118, it's about 25 inches long, an inch longer than the normal Schotts. They're cut very roomy around the belly and waist, it's why I rather wear my Vansons. The snap for the buckle on the Schott is very handy though.

    What Are You Reading

I’m reading Michael Ondaatje’s ‘The Collected Works of Billy the Kid: Left-Handed Poems’. I’m a big Ondaatje fan and have been meaning to read this for years, I’m finally getting around to it.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

A great jacket, a bit underrated, I have a sheepskin one made in the USA.

Ha, there's patina and there are holes and this is one of the latter (in Sean Connery accent).

What Are Your Favorite Books To Reread? / How Many Times? / Why?

That mystique is hard to pin down, is it the modern idea of man alone in a vast universe or is it a kind of negative pantheism? Even Heart of Darkness is open to these contrary interpretations - most people see it that Kurtz is corrupted somehow by the jungle and becomes barbaric, but it seems...

What Are Your Favorite Books To Reread? / How Many Times? / Why?

I’ve reread Conrad more than any other writer, I like his prose, it has a kind of concentration to it, you can feel how hard he worked for those sentences. His early/middle work obviously, Nostromo, Youth, The N*gger of the Narcissus (his best work in my opinion), The Secret Agent and the like...

Footwear to go with our jackets

Thanks, it must have been so hot wearing leather under stage lights. It reminds me of an interview I read about with Joey Ramone where Joey, in the full heat of a New York summer, still kept his Schott on.

They look good. Who’s the singer in your profile pic?

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

That B-3 looks like an absolute beast. Lost World sheepskins are great but really stiff, trying to talk on a mobile phone with one is a real struggle!

An example of Vanson's new Comp Weight when (almost) Fully Broken In

That's an endgame jacket right there. I'd have bone crunching surgery to fit into that (I'm guessing it'd be too small for me).
