I saw the jacket he made himself with the skived CXL, same batch of leather used for my car jacket. Beautiful jacket, but we just laughed about how stiff CXL is even after being skived down, mine still looks like it did when it was new only a little bit more pliable now.
So that Vermont leather... why the hell did I let TFL talk me into CXL, lol, jk. The Vermont leather is supple, pliable, and remarkably light, vs CXL being stiff, hard wearing, and heavy. Vermont is very easy wearing, you could almost equate it to a lambskin jacket. And I got to see your...
Those are the finesse touches that elevate a product into something desirable. It requires a mind for design and art, vs manufacturing and engineering. Maybe write Custom Tailor Made or something like that as a separate badge on the special leather.

That leather is gorgeous, and it does seem less unwieldy than Ton's. Seriously gorgeous, looks as good as anything coming out of Chicago, and the color is spot on.
So we got confirmation that these hides can be skived. So now we have a beautiful dark brown, and a black in the works...
I really like the brown on your's @ton312... I usually go for black especially if it's teacore, but that brown is mesmerizing.
