It's here. Pictures shot in late afternoon, no direct light but outside. No fit pics atm. This is a nice jacket and very wearable. Collar and lapel folds need some training. DHL update says coming in to Miami customs by way of London. 2/18 is predicted delivery date. I'm hoping they surprise me with sooner Shawn says 1.2mm HH thickness which is close to the Premium Goat, IIRC.- Hobbes1

This incoming HH jacket is #4 for me. At present, I am 1 for 3 so this is probably going to be my last, at least for the time being, from 5*. The first (a year ago or so) was a steerhide that is super squeaky...not exactly plasticky...but some sort of top coating that chips off leaving a sort...- Hobbes1

This goes back to having an updated website. If he accurately represented his wares and the available customizations, I would bet stupid question volume would drop by 80%. Maybe. But if for no other reason than their own sanity (and mine!), 5* should be updating their website. There is just a huge knowledge gap between what they might have/do have/will have and what they can/can't do.... I have bought several jackets from them previously and even I had to ask...- Hobbes1

Yeah, I'm (nervously) awaiting seeing it in natural light. The various pictures Shawn has sent me have been all over the place, color-wise. Fingers crossed that it will be a good, wearable jacket that looks great. Pretty sure this will be my last 5* for now. Maybe revisit in the summer to see...- Hobbes1

this is a custom job from 5* which is based on the Thedi Hektor style of jacket. @ton312 this is supposed to be the “pull up” HH, not distressed. At least, that’s what Shawn’s description of is…..in case that matters to you for your project. Cheers!- Hobbes1
