    Wow! I love this jacket! Its great with the buttons instead of zipper. Totally changes the dynamic of the look, to me. Do you have any pics of it buttoned and the back of the jacket? Really nice. Cheers!

    Yeah, in pictures here the pockets do seem a bit high. In practice, for me, I don't recall being bothered by the placement. If I still had the jacket I'd refer back....you could probably find fit pics that I posted way back in this thread and in the WJAYWT thread. I think it was about a year ago...

    Hey, that's "my" design, submitted for the first 5* I purchased. It's a good jacket but the steerhide was too squeaky. I actually donated the jacket to the Goodwill as it was too squeaky for me to wear. I hope yours turns out better. I might eventually get that one again in goat or hh.

    That looks excellent! Well done! So, to be clear, this leather, thick as it is....it's not a CHL baseball glove leather right? How does the collar feel on the back of your neck? The CHL leather was like iron on the back of my neck. Completely unyielding. Anyway, I'm out of the new jacket thing...

    5* HH brown pullup. I like this jacket quite a bit. The leather is good quality and it's warm. I have the wool lined body and quilted satin sleeves. Took a nice walkabout in a T-shirt and jacket and was comfortable. Temperature was about 55F.

    Thanks for that info! Agreed, Shawn/5* need an overhaul of their website showing what is now available, not what was available a year ago or more. The problem I have here is: "Cognic or Yan Dye"...sorry, what? I wonder if this "Cognic" is the same as what he has previously listed at "Conic" on...

    CP, if you find out info that 5* can produce HH jackets in this (pictured) "congac" color (as you dub the underside), please let us know. I like that color a lot and it's what I wanted when I ordered the tan CHL. Thanks!

    To be fair, several of us on here tried to get HH going with 5* last year. I was told it would be a year at least until it was available. Previous discussion was HH from 5* being thin and not very good. I think that led.to the rabbit trail of CHL

    Thank you. The design is a mashup of some things I've seen online, dominated by Thedi design. For me, Thedi has some of the best looking designs anywhere.
