I bought my size 46 at the pop up a year ago and definitely remember it feeling trimmer than the goat G-1.
Not enough to size differently and maybe just due to diffeeent hides but it felt trimmer.
Hey @jacketjunkie - I am a UK9 usually (trickers 8 1/2 wide though). My sizing experience in white's - semi-dress and smokejumper in a 9.5e fitted pretty well. I could have gone up to 10e for a roomier fit. I have quite wide feet and a high instep which throws it off slightly.

For a whole day of walking and being on my feet, I’d choose to wear lace up boots rather than my engineers. I find the snugger fit around the heel and instep better for walking.
I feel like you are missing the point of redwings, if you have to take them off at the first sign of snow or dirt to put on some cheaply made trash.
But each to their own.
