I have one of their padded shoulder cafe racer, picked up from Thurston Bros. Really nice jacket, top quality work. Yes, the sleeves, armholes are on the slim side. I won't mind getting more of their jackets, some nice unique styles in there!
Vanson jacket all SOLD now. Thank you!
Dehen sweater PRICE DROP to $150. If it doesn't move in a few days I'll have to withdraw it as I'll be leaving the US and returning back to Asia.
Hi guys, I'm visiting the US after quite a while, brought along these two items as I'm not wearing them and rather offer them here than have them in my closet unused. I'm here in the US for only another 10 days or so, thus need to move these items fast. I hope my prices are appealing. If you...
I hear ya about the high end makers. I have my share of denim from them, but always a hard time deciding on splurging for them.
This jacket you're wearing here - awesome! I'd totally wear that, and I'm not a farmer!
Awesome jacket! Been on my wish list for a while. Sadly, the Lee jackets I see in the mall doesn't seem to be at the same level as these old ones or the versions from Japanese makers - Iron heart etc. I remember seeing a WH Ranch version on IG a year or two ago, made from super-thick material...
They had the 641 in HH.
Edit: Only in black. And sadly no 641XX, salesperson mentioned stuff along the lines of those jackets being for Japan market only, super slim, etc.
Seriously man, I just bought the exact same jacket recently, and my Scrambler is sporting that same pannier bag too - the first version of the Iron & Resin Terrain pannier! Might as well get myself that newsboy hat and a pair of Dr. Martens in the same color - both of which I've been...
Type III denim jacket here as well, from Tellason.
I'm back in NYC, visiting after almost two years. Stopped by the Schott NYC store, of course, and tried on jackets. Lots more horsehide now than I remember last. The 618 HH is tempting me! CAF1 out of stock, was told Schott has "discontinued"...
That's a fantastic jacket, looks good on you. I've been considering an Aero Aeromarine sometime in the near future, but this LW version is a legit option now.
I second checking with Thurston Bros, especially if its a model they carry regularly. Also, if in NYC area, perhaps check out Inspiration NYC on Oct 15-16? Looks like Vanson has a booth there. I'm looking to be in town around then, will be sure to go check it out...
Ah yes, I think I've seen their ads or a brief write up about them in one of the UK classic bike mags. Very smart looking indeed, and yes, a stylish small-capacity bike like this is just perfect for city commuting and to start off your motorcycle journey. Before you know it you'll be on a bigger...
Hey, something like the Mash Motorcycles? Saw a bunch of these on Paris streets last time I was there. Stylish little retro bikes! I think now they come in everything form 175 to 400 cc?

And yes, Royal Enfield are quite stylish - I live in South Asia, RE...
Love your bike! This color and the matte green from a few years ago were my first choices, but the black one was available so grabbed that one. It was tough deciding between an Arrow and a Zard exhaust, eventually went with the shorty Zards.
Oh and love your club sweater too. I have a similar...
Thank you! The exhausts do get a bit warm but the heat shields help. The factory OEM exhausts are bigger and in the same place. Although largely a styling exercise, as many of these Bonnie Scrambler don't see much hardcore off-road use, but when you do take them on dirt tracks, the increased...
Thank you!
Here you go! All armor pads are in place - back, shoulders, elbows. In today's age of d3o, seesoft, etc, these Vanson pads are on the stiff, bulky side, but once I wear the jacket and am moving around, I don't notice the pads much.
