Thoughts on my new Eastman Rough Wear B3 jacket
The fleece looks much better than usual, shiny and knobbly. As others have said, the outer coating is paint not leather so unless it has become porous no conditioner will penetrate. Pecards us a big no on acrylic, it dries out and forms a white wax like layer...disastrous. It can only be...- John Lever

ANJ4, the dream. Lost Worlds vs Eastman
Go for Aero, they do both long and short zip versions and can do sheepskin cuffs. They are significantly softer and easier to wear and cheaper. Some others are beautifully made but very uncomfortable to wear. Top choice would be McCoys if you can find one but they are hard to find now.- John Lever

Unlike Ian I am no expert on history patterns etc but have owned very early Goodwear(10 years ago) Lost Worlds, Aero, Freewheelers, Real Mccoys and Eastman. All were horse apart from the Eastman.
