There is a pair of shearling pants with suspenders. Ad says they belonged to her grandfather. Looks real good shape for being original $100.00. If I had a need for them I'd get them.
There on OfferUp in Granite Falls, Washington State, USA
Trying to add commentary to my picture above. 30 minutes wasted.
Went to the Marysville, WA Filson Outlet store today.
Added this to my Filson collection, $199.00.
On a side note they're doing a lot of shipping for call in orders on the discounted outlet pricing
For you out of area addicts.
While waiting for the wife to do some shopping. Picked up a display mannequin from a JC Penny's going out of business sale in a small town call Snohomish. $35.00. Thought it would make a good display for my small jacket problem.
The Westlake is a longer jacket. The Westlake is more detailed in its design. If you know what to expect in oil cloth performance and ok with it, you won't be disappointed with the Westlake.
I picked up that j100 in post #11. The fit is great, not baggy, long or short.
The leather is no were near the Horsehide that Aero uses. It is very light duty.
I think the j100 style is designed as a light duty jacket and Hillside nailed it.
If I was in the market for motorcycle jacket...
Looking forward to your see your jacket. Show lots of pictures. I've got a side zip Timberline in goat, I'm thinking of adding padded to shoulders and elbows.
Great jacket fit. I like the jacket length covering the pants belt, never looks good with jeans and belt below bottom of jacket. The belt on jacket gives good air seal, side buckles never stops the cold air.
Your jacket looks great. Now the challenge will be to break it in. From what I've seen it'll take 20 plus years of heavy use to bring the patina out. Good luck!
These are my White's /Hawthorn Packers, I tried to include ankle to heel shape, the fit is great. I can only seem to get it to load in black and white, I'll have to get one of my kids to help with that.
The ad shows a junior scout, mines a sport scout, differences is 30ci vs. 45 and the chief is 74. Thanks for the ad. The free helmet and pin would be great accessorie.
Going for groceries with the wifey. First time wearing my Langlitz Cascade. Birthday present to myself. Wait time was 4 weeks. Looks like it will take a few years of weekends to break in.
Here's picture of my Timberline in goat, was in their new stock i.e. wasn't on the discount rack. Bernie said it's comparable to size 46, although I wear a 44. I'm 6'2" 205. I have tough time finding others on net with one. It was just to cool to pass on.
