I have a mid 60's G-1 it's a durable lighter goat and my go to everyday wear jacket.
I also have much heavier goat Langlitz Columbia and Timberline. The heavier goat feels different from horse or cow, doesn't have the stiffness/structure and when soaked, much more limp.

I would love to join this challenge, but can't wear leather jacket in my line of work. After January 1st I'll be free that. Maybe that'll be one my new years resolutions.
Humphrey Bogart movie from 1938, "Racket Busters" has wonderful leather jackets. Viewed the first 15 minutes on TBS this morning before I had to leave for work. Saw a match to my railroad jacket, said to be purchased by 1st owner in Late 1930's.
I have this same Brill jacket, size 44 but with fur collar.
Out of all my leather jackets, this is the one that I use most often.
Mine is made of goatskin, very durable and light.
Highly recommended for active wear.

Also tried the discount list Boss boots, they're...

My Aero Selkirk, I never seen many pictures on the web of this model. One of my favorite none motorcycle jackets in my coat room.
