Working on a Halloween mask last night. Trying to do a Dr's Mask.
Made out of leather.
Will be a little faux pas, but aren't most Halloween costumes?
Since mask are required at work, this might suffice.
My dream would be to find jacket of this style with 20 plus years of daily breakin, use at a church thrift sale.
Ran this one by the wifey and got a big fat no!
Showed her pictures and still no go.
I'll try tomorrow.
Now I'm on the hunt for a Sears horsehide jacket. Thanks guy's.
A cool accurtrment spotted in the catalogue is the rabbits foot zipper pull.
I'll have to get one of those too.
Mid 60's this morning. Going for a ride, will get into 80's midday.
After my daily reading of The Lounge.
I went through my stack of black leather jackets and came up with the Hillside CR. Thought I'd share.
Haven' t worn it in more than year, has the new leather smell.
I like the midweight...
I think it's a good fit, from what can be seen in pictures.
Looks like it will form fit with wear. This was on my watch/want list.
I bought a Langlitz Columbia on a face to face meet and try on.
Later found $120 cash with used ferry ticket stub from a couple of years earlier in the forearm...
Memorial Day weekend road trip in Town of Sulton, WA.
Sought out this 1900's roadside advertisement, was uncovered during remodel couple years ago.
Wearing Filson Beartooth Shirt-Jac.
First foray into automatic watches, been wearing this most days since Christmas.
My next automatic will have a longer reserve time. This Propilot has 36 hour reserve. When I leave it off for day or so the reserve is used up.
Been pleased with it overall.
I have a Brill G1 by serial number dated to 1967, if I recall correctly.
It is a size 44. Out of all my leather jacket, I most often grab this one going out the door. Not to heavy or light, wears close to body. I'm 6'2" on a stretch and 210. Some one should get this if this is their size.
Just...
Went to my wood lot to spend the weekend. It's Winter here. Caught a weekend that wasn't raining. Was mid 30's at night and mid 40's daytime. 2nd picture show what I have to go through, about 1/3 mile to get to river/other side of property.
I like to walk property line yearly.
The underbrush...
Poor picture quality showing my 10 year old Westlake shelter cloth jacket. Showing lots of patina from daily wear 6 months out of year for several years. Made in USA. Picture shows lining, for a better finished product. Nine pockets.
Went to the 75% off sale. Got there hour after opening and waited about hour. Gave me something to do on a Satuday morning.
Saw lots of fine hats, lots of folks coming out with five hats, buy 4 get the fifth free.
