That's as amazing as today's hat, Steve. Your collection is truly unique.
Recovering from a cold, I had to get out into some fresh air this afternoon.

Don't you have anything better to do? Or do you intend to insult everyone?
The only reason you showed up here was to air your grievance. You did that, we read it, you should be satisfied. Now we would like to get back to discussing hats.

Sums it up nicely, rog. Now would be the time for me to post one of my Gomez creations and get this thread back on track, but I don't own one as yet. Reading Tom's measured response to an overly aggressive attempt at defamation, considering all the other satisfied customers who have posted here...
I haven't seen it, but it's similar to other mid-late '50s Stetson tips I've seen. There are others here who know more than I do about these things, though.
You won't go wrong asking Art Fawcett to make you an Open Road clone or something similar. It will be of better quality and more than likely fit you better than a factory-made Stetson.

Like this. Can't beat...

A couple of standouts for me today, not that they weren't all pretty nice:
Alan--there is nothing more to say about the Fray. It speaks for itself.
Steve--another amazing Mayser.
moon--classic...
I walked into the hotel in LA tonight after dinner. The desk clerk says to me "I have a fair trade to propose to you." I asked him what he wanted to trade. He said "I'll trade you that car for that hat" while pointing at a Porsche Carrera parked outside. We laughed about it, after which he...
