Thanks Dave. Fair Isle sweater vests are one of my favorite things. This one was knit by Moffatt Woolens in Scotland. The one you have on today is a super color combo.
Thanks,
Michael
And a great choice at that. Love that fair isle, too.
I put on a tie today as well. A thick wooly to keep my neck warm. It's labeled only to the local dept store, but the WPL number tells me it was made by Beau Brummel Ties.

I was going to go with a different blue homburg today, but when I opened the box I thought it was in I found this

So I went with a different Borsalino instead. Torino model

Thanks Eric, I was toasty. Good to see your snow drought has ended. Ha ha. You brought a lot of fine hats out to play, as usual.
Thanks Mike. It was a local find from a year or two ago. You are looking good with the stingies lately.
Thanks,
Michael

Dang, Stefan. That hat, coat, scarf, shirt and tie combo on the Thirty is sublime.
The ribbon on the Mirtillo model is too cool. I don't think I've ever seen it done like that before.
Michael
Thanks Joe. Always fun to take pictures in/of the snow.
Yes, that one likes the snow. I'm pretty sure it's not the first time it's been out shoveling. Ha ha. I generally prefer snow to freezing rain. But when my neighbor ended up at the bottom of my hill because the snow turned to ice under...
I've got the winter clothes on today, Randy. I would like a two day snow, as well. Unfortunately the forecast says we are heading colder so this one won't melt off. Needs to be shoveled off before it settles into ice. I guess I need the exercise anyway as is seems a poor day for a bike ride...
Seems we had a spot of snow overnight.

Still coming down, actually, and this Beaver Hats long hair is doing an effective job of collecting it.

Thanks Mike. The boots are some Florsheim that appear to have been made in 1970.
That looks like a great work hat, Mike. Not too much brim to be bumping into projects. How's the He-Shed working out? Got a stereo and a big screen out there yet?

Last day of autumn here today, with near record highs at that. Tomorrow winter comes with rain and snow.

Thanks Mike. This one really likes to be photographed in the sun. The colors come out much better.
You've been styling the late 50s back bows lately. Looking good. Walkover made some great shoes. I thrifted a pair and gave them to a friend of mine. He wore them until he was walking on the...

Thanks guys. I agree about the sweater jacket. It was made over Des Moines way by Bob Allen and I think designed more for the skeet range than the field. I probably should have dug out one of my Gun Club hats to wear with it.
Thanks,
Michael
