For the record:
Yesterday I changed it to a diamond crease, but I didn't care for the feel of it. Today, I was trying to move the crease a little (It seemed to me it wasn't quite centered). I found that it definitely has a memory. Not like an elephants...closer to a rabbits (I crack myself up...
No, actually the second one is more distracting. But, I don't understand why you added the first photo...I don't recall seeing anyone with a hat. :D :eusa_doh:
How did we get from fedoras to cowboy hats? lol
From one Michigander to another...nice hat ;)
I prefer my hats to ride lower as well. It feels more secure on my head, I guess [huh]. Plus, the lower they are, the better they block the sun (this coming from a guy who lives in a relatively cloudy state :D)
"Diamond Crease"
I tried a diamond crease today. I like the look, maybe not quite as much as the standard crease I started with, but I did like it. I did, however, encounter a problem with the fit. It feels like it is just barely sitting on my head. So I've ruled that one out, unless there's...
Me & my baby:
Now that my 8 year old has been bitten by the photography bug, all sorts of pictures have been taken of me in the last few days. :eusa_doh:
Man, I really like the looks of that one too! :eusa_clap
That's very true. I only have one hat right now (Akubra Sydney), but just from looking at the photos on this site, and from reading posts, I am beginning to like the taller, untapered crowns more and more. I'm sure a big part of it is...
I'm really referring to statements like those he made while trying figure out which truck to jump into, like..."Geez, fella's this can't be all of the guys, where are they all at?" (keep in mind that is a loose paraphrase of what was said, but I think it captures the moment).
I totally agree with you regarding Webster. I think he was totally misrepresented. I also read his book, which I thought was great, and I just can't imagine him relating to others so poorly. The way he is portrayed, you'd think he was a brainless, idiot who just arrived from the country club and...
Here's a photo of the inside of my hat from a diifferent perspective than you're probably used to. While snowboarding in the back yard with the kids: :eusa_doh: :D
Indiana Jones, I'm not!
Same Fedora. Different location (Snowboarding in the back yard):
This may be against the rules for wearing a fedora [huh] :
I'm no Indiana Jones (The hat doesn't always stay on) :eusa_doh: :
If you could wear out a CD I would have worn out my BoB soundtrack. I love it. By far my favorite soundtrack. Michael Kamen, RIP, did a great job! I especially love "The Mission". In fact, I made part of it into my ring tone on my phone. :cool2:
