I got some pictures when snapping some for the irvin.
The slim Indigo/Indigo (here you can see the color. My socks are black, but the "indigo" is actually more black :D
Im also wearing the red/navy gingham in Large.
The Slate normal fit. Also red/navy gingham and a natural belt (bought...
I snatched it from the salespage at Aero so it was kinda impulsive.
So basically it looks ok unzipped but its really really tight and small.
I have to strive to zip it up and I dont think I could sit down when zipped up.
This is a 40, so will a 42 be enough?
And also how much extra bodylength...
I ony have studs and I have never dropped anything out of the pocket. The studs can be very hard to open tho, so a zip might be smoother, but I have none so dont know if its bulkier, more prone to break or whatever :)
I want to add that I am clean. I wash my hands after meals, I always use paper after doing number one, I never wipe my hands on my jeans after eating chocolate or had them on the ground. This helps, but eventually you gotta wash - 12-18 months seems to be sort of a maximum before smell for me...
I dont sew a cuff - I hem. Sorry for the mistake.
I also wash my jeans when smelly or dirty - just to clarify. I just wait as long as I can because I feel the fades gets more personal and is part of why I buy raw denim.
Butte: I dont see them saying anything debunking that longer wear gives...
Easy there soldier. You mean it is BS according to your values. Not washing for longer periods *gives more contrasting fades* and this is a fact. Like it or not, but its not BS. :)
Other then that, you are right, wash or leave longer beacause they will shrink some. I washed my slates and...
Comfort really depends on the fabric and how its treated.
My IronHeart 21oz is way more comfortable then my Gustin 14oz indigo/indigo.
The IH were supersoft from the start, almost incredible comfortable right out of the box. They have now developed nice fades btw and are my favourite pair, i...
I backed the loomies. Im a perfect size 35 slim so went with a size 38 slim. I will make a cold soak first, and if the are still big i will make a hot soak.
Different fabric will behave different. But I have washed new raw sanforized selvedge in 90 degrees and had minimal shrinkage. Remember theese are sanforized so I just dont think its worth it to try and shrink inseam. Just hem them 0.5" longer then you want - wear - wash in 40 when dirty...
40c and hanging warm to dry usually dont give me any shrinking that wont stretch back out in the waist and no shrinking in length that I can see.
60c Makes the jeans shrink and if the legs are on the edge of being too short, they will now be too short unless you stretch them hard before...
It will result in more color loss and some shrinking. You will have to work harder to get fades after this. The amount of shrinking depends alot on the fabric. Mine got some trimmer in the legs but not much, but the waist got alot snugger.
Theoretically this will continue until the jeans are white. Since the jeans gets lighter and lighter after wash, it means it looses color. It just becomes less apparent. I think its a good think that the color sticks like that.
I think mine took a week plus, after shippingnotice , but items can get stuck in customs, maybe you got unlucky with this one item.
Dont trust the shipping quotes, wait until you get the mail that its shipped and count from that day, or better yet - trace it and go a week from the actual send date.
This went in the mail to a forum member today.
I already miss it...man why cant there be weather for jackets like this. No more of this hide either so truly one of a kind.
But......use it or loose it...Im putting the money into something with sheepskin that is actually needed here in minus...
Cant be much better then that!! I love the look and your A2 look good enough to eat.
But I would loose the baby-cuff and just wear them straight, they look just on the edge and that will work out by itself. They will look "bubly" for a bit but after walking some they will settle and crease. Its...
I´m considering the fourteeners. Does anyone have them?
My indy/indy is 14oz and they are actually substantial and a very versatile weight.
Theese look maybe a little "dull" (no rare selvedge id or anything) but the color looks great and they dont have too much streaking, might be a great...
